Space Tech for Mobility
Presented by SGInnovate. Partnered With France’s National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) and French Tech Singapore
Improving mobility is a necessity and will strongly impact the economy, environment and life. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) play a major role, in order to increase operational efficiency, improve the quality of key public services as transportation and share goods and information with others.
Behind many of these ICT solutions are space technologies and satellite infrastructures, like a new generation of Global Satellite Navigation Systems (GNSS) such as Galileo for services of positioning and timing. Satellite communication offers a very efficient way for diffusion information and is an alternative when terrestrial solution is not available.
Space technologies are already present in mass market usages and they will continue to take part in the evolution of mobility solutions and services. This event will discuss what space tech for mobility is about, and its impact on our future economy.
